What if your symptoms aren’t permanent?

What if they’re changeable?

As both a clinical psychologist and someone who has experienced chronic neuroplastic symptoms (including really fun 'lightning bolt' pain in my eye), I understand how confusing and discouraging chronic pain and other symptoms can feel.  I also know how much hope emerges when we start to understand these symptoms differently.

From Pain to Possibility
is a free newsletter for anyone living with chronic pain.  That can mean your 'standard' symptoms like back pain, neck pain, arm pain, foot pain, headaches, etc.  But it can also be other 'less standard', but still really unpleasant, symptoms, like dizziness, nausea, fatigue, GI stuff, migraines, tinnitus, brain fog, even anxiety.

Basically, if you have ever experienced persistent symptoms like these, this is the place for you.  Especially if you are tired of the same old advice and are open to learning more about what can be possible when we work with the brain and the nervous system, not against them.

In each bi-monthly newsletter you can expect:

💙 Education about the brain’s role in pain and other neuroplastic symptoms - so that you can truly understand how this approach differs from a lot of the well-intentioned but woefully unhelpful traditional approaches to pain

💙 Personal reflections (no AI here!) from myself and other health professionals also passionately working to challenge conventional views on pain and healing

💙 Actionable ideas you can try in your own life to help you make small but valuable shifts in your mindset and nervous system - which might even help you to notice a change in your symptoms, no medication, needles, or surgery required!

Old Way vs New Way — How To Start Rethinking Chronic Symptoms

When you sign up, you’ll receive my free short guide that outlines 4 key shifts that can help you better respond to what’s happening in your body. So that chronic symptoms can start to loosen their grip.

Inside, you’ll learn why tracking symptoms isn’t always helpful, why ‘pacing’ can hold you back, how medication can help and hinder, and why you don’t just have to ‘learn to live with’ your pain.  I can't promise miracles, but I can say that once you start thinking differently, it becomes a lot easier to become more active, feel less at war with your body, and feel more hope.

The guide is downloadable and available in both pdf and audio formats, so you can read or listen (or both) – whichever feels best for your nervous system.

Whether you are struggling with your own symptoms or working with others with chronic symptoms, my hope is that this newsletter will spark curiosity and help us all challenge conventional ideas about health, illness, and healing.
